The Alexia bungalow boasts of a terrace with views of the sea and the lush vegetation so typical of this part of the island. The bungalow has a master bedroom, living room and two bathrooms, one of which has a unique outdoor shower, nestled among blue gaiac, mapou and indigenous pear trees, as well as “church candle” cacti. This bungalow benefits from a small kitchen, well appointed to serve breakfast and quick meals. Bedroom 3 – Philippe Bungalow

With a calm Japanese-style garden separating it from the Alexia bungalow, the “son’s house” is the most masculine in feel. Its large master bedroom contains two spectacular canopy king size beds with a sitting area and a vast bathroom tiled in grey quarry stone.  For those who love to cook, this bungalow also has a fully appointed kitchen. This bungalow is perhaps the most private, nestled behind lush vegetation benefiting from a wrap around terrace. Bedroom 4 – Helen Bungalow

Near the entrance of the property, this charming, traditional island bungalow, trimmed with rare ironwork, has a lovely entrance/living room with a hardy blue gaiac tree growing in its center! Stretching through the ceiling, its branches brush the roof!
The bungalow has one large bedroom and one small one, with an adjoining bathroom for each. Here, too, there is a full kitchen making this cottage ideal for a couple with a child, or for a child and his nanny. Kitchen

A chef’s dream, the state-of-the-art kitchen opens onto an outdoor dining room set on the veranda. It is one of many dining areas distributed around the estate, to cater to the inspiration of the moment, the number of guests, or the time of day…
Equipped with 2 gas ovens, gas and induction stove, microwave, grill and deep fryer, 2 large fridge and freezers, professional ice maker, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee and espresso machine, Nespresso machine, wine cellar. Service for 13 guests. Huge gas BBQ by the pool kitchen.

Living / Dining

Plantation’s name resonates with the colonial charm of the crisp while columns and varnished wooden floors of its long veranda with three different sitting areas and a wonderful hammock to lull you to sleep! French windows look onto an immense living room comfortably furnished, and a magnificent game room, complete with pool and ping pong tables (ceiling fan, library and mosquito screens).
At the other end of the house, an air conditioned multimedia family room (with also ceiling fan) boasts a home cinema with a bevy of satellite-beamed US channels, DVD, Ipod Dock, WIFI and the must of the moment, a Wii console.

Swimming pool

Ideally tucked at the end of the garden, a gorgeous heated pool lined in lava rock, with counter current system, offers fabulous vistas between laps. Its wide deck, fenced in for the children’s safety, is enhanced by a delightful gazebo-kitchen including a state of the art barbeque and bar, which enables guests to “live” at the pool from morning till night, if they so wish.
